A Spooktacular Run Through Downtown Lorain!

Join us for our annual Monster Mash Dash, a Halloween-themed community race that's equal parts spooky and fun! Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or a little monster in a costume, there's something for everyone. This family-friendly event brings together the Lorain community to celebrate fall, fitness, and festive flair — all while supporting downtown revitalization efforts.

What to Expect:

• Race Options for All Ages:

  • 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk

  • Mini Monster Dash for kids 10 & under

• Costumes Welcome:
  Dress to impress! Prizes awarded for best costumes — including pets!

• Dog-Friendly Fun:
  Leash up your furry friend and join the 1 Mile Walk for a chance to win “Best Dressed Pooch.”

• Swag & Refreshments:
  All participants receive a themed race shirt and enjoy post-race snacks and drinks.

• Local Vibes:
  The race kicks off from Scorcher's on Broadway, surrounded by downtown Lorain’s vibrant fall charm.
