Welcome to Main Street Lorain!
Main Street Lorain serves as an advocate for Downtown with the city and county governments as well as individual merchants and property owners. Main Street Lorain also aids in coordinating special events that occur in the Downtown area, and it provides access to national information and networks as well as technical assistance through the Heritage Ohio and National Main Street programs.

Lorain Port
There’s nothing quite like watching the Bascule Bridge raise up for a gigantic steel tanker to float on by. While you’re here, walk around the beautiful Black River Landings, and check out a concert.

Bike Trails
Lorain’s bike trail system is awesome! A wonderful winding path that takes you over multiple bridges, gives views of the old industrial parts of Lorain, and allows you to connect with the Elyria and Oberlin bike systems!
